Hello everyone- after more than 33 years in business I have decided to retire. I will be closing my office permanently on October 31/25. Clients will be notified as to where their files will be stored and who will be continuing their care.

Some of you have been with me since the late 90s, and others only more recently, and it has been an honour and a privilege to be your Massage Therapist during this time.

Thank you for an amazing 33 years and I wish you all continuing good health!

Paul Gibbons was born and raised in Newfoundland, where the winters are long and the mosquito should be considered the provincial bird :)

An older brother incapacitated with Cerebral Palsy had always kept the value of function and movement foremost in his mind.  In his early 20's he decided to explore massage therapy as a means of helping others maintain and improve their own freedom of movement.

After receiving his Registered Massage Therapist designation in 1992 he worked in a variety of clinical settings over the years.

He opened Affinity Massage Therapy in late 2001 and since then has been helping  local (and sometimes not-quite-so-local) residents cope with the aches and pains brought on by everything from life, work, accidents, and the occasional very well-played round of golf.

On rainy days he is often found at home reading and writing, or watching the various Star Treks and other sci-fi shows; on sunny days you will often find him hiking and snowshoeing on the local mountains.
